Brokerstack is a content site. We do not sell products through this site, we do not operate user accounts, and we do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
We process personal data in three situations only: when our hosting provider serves you a page, when you subscribe to our email list, and when you contact us directly. Each is described below.
This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you load a page, your browser automatically transmits data that Vercel processes in server log files, including your IP address, the requested page, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system, and the date and time of the request.
Purpose and legal basis: this processing is technically necessary to deliver the site and to maintain its security and stability. Our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: log data is retained by Vercel for a short technical period and is not merged with other data sources by us.
Transfer outside the EU: Vercel is established in the United States. The transfer is safeguarded by a data processing agreement incorporating the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are read. Vercel Web Analytics is privacy-preserving: it does not set cookies, does not store or read any information on your device, does not use device fingerprinting, and does not create cross-site or cross-session identifiers. Individual visitors are not identifiable to us.
Because no information is stored on or read from your device, this does not require consent under § 25 TDDDG, and this site therefore does not display a cookie consent banner.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate usage of our own content (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This is only true as long as no additional tracking (GA4, Meta Pixel, embedded YouTube, etc.) is added. If that changes, this section and the cookie-banner decision need to be revisited.
If you submit your email address to receive our workflow library and updates, we process your email address and the date and time of your subscription and confirmation.
Double opt-in: after you submit the form we send one confirmation email. Your address is only added to the list once you click the confirmation link. If you do not confirm, the pending entry is deleted within 30 days. We store the confirmation timestamp as proof of consent.
Purpose and legal basis: sending you the requested resource and subsequent emails about AI workflows for insurance professionals, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Storing the consent record rests on our legal obligation to demonstrate consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR).
Processors:
Withdrawal: you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, using the unsubscribe link in every email or by emailing hello@getbrokerstack.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. On withdrawal your address is deleted, except for a minimal suppression record kept to ensure we do not contact you again.
If you email us, we process your address, your message, and any data you choose to include, in order to respond. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps prior to entering a contract where relevant (Art. 6(1)(f) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete correspondence once it is no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.
Some pages contain affiliate links. When you click one, the merchant or its affiliate network may set a cookie or use a comparable technology on their own domain to attribute a later purchase to us. That processing takes place under the merchant's own privacy policy and outside our control — we receive only aggregate commission reports and never learn who made a purchase. We do not set affiliate cookies ourselves.

Our profiles on Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and TikTok (TikTok Technology Ltd.) are operated on those platforms' infrastructure. When you interact with our profiles, the platform processes your data as controller under its own policy, and in some respects we are joint controllers with the platform for aggregate page insights. We have no access to the underlying personal data. Links on this site to those profiles are plain hyperlinks: no data is transmitted to the platforms until you click them.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data (Art. 15), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (Art. 7(3)).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority competent for us is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD).
We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
