Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Some of the links on this site and in our emails are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up for or buy the product, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. In some cases that commission recurs monthly for as long as you remain a customer.

That is how Brokerstack is funded. We would rather tell you plainly than run ads.

Here is what that does and does not mean.

What we commit to

  • We only link tools we have actually used in a recorded workflow. If you see a tool on this site, you have seen it run.
  • A commission never determines whether a tool appears or how we rate it. When a tool we earn nothing from is the better choice, we say so and link it anyway.
  • When a tool has a meaningful limitation for insurance work, we name the limitation, including when we earn from that tool.
  • Any paid placement — where a company pays us to produce content, as opposed to paying a commission on a sale — is labelled as such, in the content itself, every time.

What we are not

Brokerstack is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any insurance carrier, brokerage, comparison platform or software vendor, and no vendor has editorial input into what we publish.

Nothing on this site is insurance, legal, tax or financial advice. We cover general software and productivity workflows for insurance professionals. You are responsible for the compliance, licensing, data protection and professional obligations that apply to your own practice — including whether a given tool may lawfully process your clients' data.

Where you'll see the short version

The FTC requires disclosure that is clear, conspicuous and adjacent to the link — a footer link to this page alone is not sufficient. So you'll also see:

  • Above links on a page or post: "Disclosure: some links below are affiliate links — if you sign up, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. We only link tools we've recorded ourselves."
  • In Instagram/TikTok captions, first two lines: "#ad — affiliate link in bio. We earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you."
  • Spoken or on-screen in videos with an affiliate recommendation: "Heads up — the link for this one is an affiliate link."
  • In emails: "This email contains affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we earn a commission at no additional cost to you."
